Special Congregational Meeting Jan 24 2010

Pastor Alice Kerr-Laird opened the meeting at 11:25 with prayer.

After a brief question and answer period, Pastor Simon excused himself from the meeting.

Council made a motion that the congregation vote to extend a call to Pastor Simon as our next pastor.The motion was seconded by Cathy Fales. Dave Erickson and George Bowen were appointed as tellers.  A written vote was taken.  The vote was unanimous in favor of calling Pastor Simon. 

The compensation packet was passed out to the congregation and discussed. Pastor Kerr-Laird pointed out that the form should be used during the Pastor’s review process each year.  A motion to accept the compensation packet as presented was approved unanimously.

The meeting ended at 11:40.
