Join Us

All people are welcome to share in the feast of Holy Communion; we don't apply any earthly restrictions. And, unlike many denominations, we don't require anyone to be a member, or even a Christian, to worship with us. As members, we simply ask that people act on their membership by participating in the life of this faith community.

The bylaws of the congregation require all members to attend worship regularly and to support the church through their time, talents, and financial support. Each Lutheran church is separately incorporated and responsible for its own finances, programs, and for calling its own pastor. We don't receive any funds from the Synod, and other than for modest investments, are essentially dependant upon ourselves financially.

As members, we commit ourselves each fall during a Consecration Worship Service to pledge to give a portion (or tithe) of what's been given to us back to God. This theology of stewardship is rooted in the belief that everything we have, including our very selves, is first a gift to us from God and that we are called as disciples of Jesus Christ to follow his example of giving ourselves away for the sake of the Gospel.
