Church Council

The secular and financial affairs of the congregation are managed very much like a typical New England town - with an annual meeting to elect a management team.  We hold our annual meeting after worship on the first Sunday in February.  At that time, we celebrate the ministry accomplished through us during the previous year, elect new members of the church council, receive last year's financial results, and vote on the current year's budget.

The Church Council is the governing body of the congregation.  It consists of the chairs of each ministry team, a president, vice-president, and secretary and other member-at-large participants.

Contact information for each ministry team is available in our Time & Talents section (Enter a key word like "Communications" into the Quick Search box).  Or, check the calendar for Team Tuesday, which is the second Tuesday of the month.  This is an excellent opportunity to talk with those involved on each ministry team and to find out where your talents might be most 'at home'.
