Fellowship Hour

Primary tabs

Make mine a small decaf mocha latte with skim milk and twelve sugars, please!

Two fellowship hour hosts are needed each week, one for each service. If twelve hosts sign up for each service, everyone would serve 3-4 times per years.

Top Ten Reasons to host a Fellowship Hour...

  • You get to meet lots and lots of St. James Members.
  • You get to try out your Grandma's recipe for zucchini mustard bread.
  • You get to make a huge pot of coffee that perks like a steam engine.
  • You get to see smiles on all of the children’s faces as they choose a sweet snack.
  • You don't have to do it alone, join with another family or friend and share the fun.
  • You get to catch up on all of the news at St. James.
  • Training is available, so don't be afraid.
  • You realize that coffee hour doesn't have to be elaborate; folks just love pretzels, Oreos and donut holes.
  • It really doesn't take much time; clean up is a snap.
  • Pastor really needs a good cup of coffee after each service.

Not able to host?
If you are not able to host, but would like to participate by providing baked goods, there will be a basket placed on the coffee table each week.

Feel free to make a donation to purchase pastry that can be served when no host family is scheduled.

There will be a sign up sheet in the Community Room kitchenette. We do not have enough hosts at this time to cover weekly fellowship hour at both services. Please sign up this Sunday so we can continue to have a coffee/fellowship hour after each service.
