Disciples in Training

Primary tabs

Disciples in Training is our new men's group that meets every Monday evening at 7:30 PM. Our desire as men is to be trained as disciples, husbands, fathers, and workers from a Biblical perspective. We discuss the Bible and how we can live our lives more aligned to Christ and His Word for us each day.

Among the group's goals:

  • Meeting weekly for breakfast and Biblical training.
  • Praying for each other weekly.
  • Serving as spiritual shepherds in our families.
  • Creating a safe place for men to share openly and honestly to one another.
  • Inviting other men to be a part of MIT.
  • Allowing each man to minister to other men in their spiritual gifts

As men we face many challenges on a daily basis so we have chosen to journey together rather than traveling alone. We invite any man who desires to get to know our Lord more no matter where you are on your spiritual journey. Please contact Steve Dumas or Wally Wildes if you have any questions.

The Heart of Discipleship
As members of the ELCA, we all share a commitment to spreading God’s word—and sharing God’s love—in the world. To live our lives in and for Christ in both church and society—that’s at the heart of discipleship. But it doesn’t just happen on its own.
